Wow! a fun blog I just really looked at. Wolfgangcat a calligrapher who specializes in illuminated manuscripts, which is one of my favorite things. I was looking for inspiration --need to plan and execute a piece for our calligraphy guild's exibition in March at the Liberty Lake library... and want to come up with a proposal for the church's foyer--a large scale calligraphy-watercolor piece. I think I will try to "kill two birds with one stone"

It is rainy today, but that is ok. I am going to spend a while in my studio, then come out to the kitchen to make three different kinds of cookie dough...it is our turn to help provide treats for church's coffee hour after services. Then comes the fun part (NOT!!) I will clean bathrooms, floors and remove dust. Busy day, and hopefully by the end will be able to say I accomplished something. Yesterday was very productive. I managed to get that blue dress made and fixed a wearable art vest I made a few years ago. I had put in an inverted pleat on each side seam which made me look like I was about 3 feet wide--DUMB!!. But all better now. I think I will actually wear the vest now. :) (The photo shows it right after I made it and so you can see the little wedge of dark blue on the left side of the photoimage... that bit is what I took out.

Well, if I keep "talking" here, I won't get done what I hope. So, see you some day soon again. Hope your day is creative and packed with good things.
