"verse"

The frame today is 'verse' and I was glad.  This particular chapter (ok, more than one verse) is one of my favorites and I had recently begun to think of ways to make a finished piece using it.  I just did some sketching today:

 It obviously will need a very different layout.  The watercolor palettes were stil out on my work table so I slapped on a stream and tree.  Discovered that on this particular paper (bristol) the watercolor makes the ink bleed and spider badly. Grrrrr!!!  So will need to create a layout that doesn't have writing atop watercolor image.

Also tried several different lettering styles. None seems right, so will work that over again too.

Aren't you happy to hear all this background stuff instead of simple presentation of a finished piece?  Actually, it is helping me to not stress about this 365 project.
