what a summer! and Fall !

Wow.  This has been a long summer.  I worked to get VBS at church accomplished in July--that was a big time taker.  Then planned and executed opening of the Sunday School year with several new features...more time--mostly at the computer.  All the while, we (Mom, Beloved Spouse and I)  worked at landscaping and yard things like crazy.  It started like this:   (After having professionals create steps and patio, Mom created all the retaining wall and pathways with precious little help from me)

This pic reminds me that Mom has decided to add to our creative daily blog only when she thinks she can manage...so from now on it will mostly be me.

and began to look like this:
( I could add lots of landscape photos,--it was really lush and beautiful by summer's end-- but that isn't part of my attempt to be creating one daily thing.)

then there was my trip to New York and Virginia to visit Daughter, Son-in-Law and three oldest grandsons, Son, Daughter-in-Law and 5 youngest grandchildren, respectively.  That was in October.  I came home having had a wonderful trip but really sick.  Just now pulling up out of that nosedive.

NOW....FINALLY....(drum roll, please:)
Yesterday I pulled out a slip from my jug of "frames"....picked the word "BOX"   Here is what I did:
I have been pondering doing a project of making alphabet blocks using small blocks of wood that are sanded and prepped to receive squares of paper that have letters on them.  So, have been trying out various ideas of whether the blocks would be all one alphabet or a compilation of many different scripts. This is one of those trial runs.  ---no, I won't put all the letters on one block, this is just thinking about ways of using several alphabets:

Now I am off to pick a new frame for today.   "See you later," she said hopefully.
