Day 22

CAT
Oh, my, what fodder for our artistic engines!  Mom has a wonderful sense of humor, don't you think?

I, on the other hand took the frame more literally.  Mom's cat (our cat?!)--

Bonnie -- loves to sit in the sewing room window sill to enjoy the view of the back yard.  When I come to the basement to visit Mom or work, I usually have Boz (my/our pomeranian dog) with me.  He is best buds with Bonnie.  The two of them wrestle and play and then groom each other or just sit side by side.  Occasionally Boz and I don't see Bonnie.  "Where's Bonnie?" ..."that pagan cat is worshipping the sun." --means she's soaking up the sun in the window sill.  I've re-named her :RA"  Mom indulges her so much that the row of pots containing Aftrican violets is skooched off center to accommodate her "pagan idol worship"  Perhaps we've gone a little theologically overboard on this worship thing.  She is, after all, 'just a cat.'

Come Play with me!

Life is ART--there is beauty everywhere that needs to be looked at and appreciated. Yeah, there is plenty of bad stuff in the world, but God tells us to think on whatever is pure, lovely and of good report (Philippians 4) so I am going to obey...won't you come with me?! Let's make and do things that are beautiful, lovely, fun....
